The Baffin Safari team are a friendly and energetic 'family' and we are there to help you through all aspects of your Arctic adventure.
Along with the team below, we have a small group of incredibly experienced Inuit guides that work with us on all our Baffin Safari expeditions. They bring a great deal of additional local knowledge, guidance and expertise to our tours.
John Davidson
Chief Expedition office - John is a true & passionate adventurer. A man that has been brought up in the outdoors, learning and appreciating nature in a range of unique natural environments, including his most loved, Canadian Arctic. One of the world's most experienced Hot Air Balloon Pilots, John has been flying Balloons for more than 26 years in over 30 countries world wide. He is the first Balloon Pilot to fly Hot Air Balloons in the Arctic region and has done over 150 flights in the Nunavik and Nunavut regions. John’s affection for the Arctic is unmatched. For the past 13 years John has lead a diverse range of expeditions and adventures by land, air and sea throughout this spectacular and sometimes very challenging region. John is Baffin Safari’s leader, and also the leader on every step of our small group or custom expeditions throughout Baffin Island.
Cindy Davidson
Manager - Customer Experience: Cindy is the smile & energy behind Baffin Safari. She’ll be the one there waiting to meet and guide you through our Ottawa gateway and also to assist you with any answers to your questions during the booking process.
An avid traveler, Cindy has travelled to over 20 countries but is still drawn to the beauty of the Arctic region. As John’s “better half”, she too has the adventure bug but happily keeps the office ticking over in Ottawa while he heads out on the expeditions.
Carley Davidson
SALES AND OPERATIONS - CARLEY is your meet and greet in ottawa - but she is so much more. she organizes all the logistics while the team is on ice to insure everything runs smoothly.
Jeremiah Mulholland
Field Guide - Jeremiah is from Colorado but passionate about guiding in the Arctic. He and John completed a two man snowmobile trek from iqaluit to Clyde River in 2018 and we are excited to have him join us for our 2023 pond inlet tours.
Jeremiah Awa
inuit guide - Jeremiah is born and raised in pond inlet and is a well seasoned guide in the area. He not only knows the land so well, but is an incredible mechanic as well - something that comes in handy from time to time.
Steven Awa
Inuit guide - Steven is Jeremiah’s brother and is also a seasoned guide. The knowledge that they possess on the ice is the result of generations of experience passed down to them.

Jenny Wong
FIELD GUIDE AND MEDIA SPECIALIST - JENNY IS ON THE ICE, HELPING WITH BASIC HOSPITALITY IN CAMP, PHOTOGRAPHY, AND YOUR RANDOM GEEKY NATURALIST CHIT CHAT. HER ARCTIC ADVENTURES STARTED WITH A TREK FROM Clyde River TO POND INLET WITH JOHN, AND SINCE THEN SHE’S BEEN ADDICTED TO THE NORTH!
